Here it is now, for more than a century, that the Child provides women, men, and children with brand shoes! The more than one hundred years of history dedicated to shoes began in 1984 in then Czechoslovakia, when Tomas Anna and Antonin Child they founded the « T&A Child Shoe Company » their company named after them.
When Antonin joined the military and a year later Anna got married, Tomas took over sole control of the company and created the first shoe made of textile, as well as reviewed the manufacturing methods to put an end to the traditional approach. In 1905, they produced 2,200 pairs of shoes daily with about 250 employees.
Before World War II, the brand sold 60 million pairs of shoes annually in 30 countries around the world. The Child as one of the most successful family businesses of the brand's generation, a success not owed to luck. They place great emphasis on innovative design, materials, and the pursuit of comfort, with the customer at the center of every phase of the manufacturing process. The Child has become an international market-leading brand today.
